Alice and William were married at Dawes Point Park on Sydney Harbour earlier this month. They had travelled all the way from Taiwan to get married here in Sydney. Their ceremony was very moving and most definitely the smallest wedding I think I’ll ever attend. I was honoured to be both their photographer and one of their witnesses on the day. The service was beautiful and very personal. I wish I had taken some tissues with me as I got rather teary – as did the bride and groom. Afterwards we walked along the foreshore to have some photographs with the Harbour Bridge in the background, then we walked through The Rocks to one of my favourite Sydney parks – Observatory Hill. We had a few spare minutes so I thought I’d try out a dramatic shot on the Sydney Harbour Bridge itself.
Alice and William – thank you for choosing me to photograph your big day. Congratulations once again and I wish you many years of happiness together.
